On Thursday, April 20th IPM Draper celebrated the opening of its new offices at Hyde House, Stephen Steet, Sligo
A number of long standing clients and friends of the business were in attendance along with founder George Draper who cut the ribbon.
Ken Draper welcomed everyone on the night and thanked colleagues and everyone who attended for their support. Special mention went to Brian Kilgallon for his exceptional service over the last 40 plus years.
Ken also mentioned that the business is about to mark its 50th year. He gave a brief history of the business from its origins in 1973 and outlined how over the years the property services company and the insurance brokerage company have grown and evolved under the IPM umbrella.
He explained that about 22 years ago the estate agency side expanded and took on its own identity, under franchise from Sherry FitzGerald and the Insurance Brokerage re-branded as IPM Draper.
In 2019, Ken and Niall Draper joined forces with Adrian McHale to develop a new financial services company – IPM Draper Financial Brokers, which is now an important and thriving part of the overall business.
Ken went on to say that the move to Hyde house is significant new chapter for the business and their ambition was to make use of their new premises as a platform to serve our customers further to the best of their ability with the promise to be true to their core values and doing the right thing by their clients.
Founder George Draper and George’s wife Vivien were also given special recognition and thanked for all their guidance and support over the years.
