The Prime Retirement Index© (PRI), launching today from the Financial Planning Standards Board (FPSB).
The PRI aims to encourage greater engagement with retirement planning and highlight the value of professional financial advice. It provides four simple milestones, expressed as multiples of salary at ages 35, 45, 55 and 65, to help people consider whether their retirement savings are on track and prompt a conversation with their adviser.
Developed by GEM Strategic and licensed by FPSB Ireland for use in Ireland, the initiative is supported by New Ireland, Royal London, Standard Life and Zurich Life.
